On November 2024, LightCastle Partners, in close collaboration with The Policy Exchange Bangladesh, co-hosted the concluding event of the Bunon 2030 events, a national dissemination session, bringing together policymakers, government stakeholders, industry leaders, experts, and development partners, to address critical challenges in the apparel industry of Bangladesh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project\u2019s progress presentation, titled “Future Proofing RMG for 2030 & Beyond” was delivered by Zahedul Amin, Co-founder & Director, LightCastle Partners. He shed light on the critical policy-level discussions and recommendations emerging from the four dialogue sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was graced by esteemed stakeholders as special guests including Mohammad Hatem, President of Bangladesh Knitwear Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BKMEA), M. A. Jabbar, Managing Director of DBL Group, Professor Mohammad A. Momen, Co-Founder of Pride Group & Former Director of IBA, Anwar Hossain, Ferdaus Ara Begum, CEO of BUILD, and Anwar Hossain, Administrator of BGMEA and Vice Chairman of EPB as the chief guest of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The national dissemination session was part of the Bunon 2030 initiative under the Oporajita – Future of Work for Women Garment Workers project, supported by The Asia Foundation and funded by H&M Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
