Phase II aligns with evolving global priorities around&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/insights\/2024\/02\/aligning-bangladesh-apparel-with-global-sustainability-trends\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">sustainability<\/a>&nbsp;and focuses on addressing the transitional challenges faced by the RMG sector through a<strong>&nbsp;just transition<\/strong>&nbsp;lens.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At its core, the phase centers on two strategic themes:&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/insights\/2024\/01\/bunon-2030-circularity-decarbonization-and-competitiveness\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">decarbonization<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;of the RMG value chain and enhancing&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/insights\/2024\/05\/worker-wellbeing-apparel-sector\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>worker wellbeing<\/strong>,<\/a>&nbsp;particularly for women garment workers. These priorities underscore the collective\u2019s commitment to enabling a just, inclusive, and climate-resilient future of work in Bangladesh\u2019s apparel industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The convening opened with welcome remarks from&nbsp;<strong>Sara L. Taylor<\/strong>, Country Representative, Mongolia at The Asia Foundation, followed by a message from&nbsp;<strong>Charlotte Brunnstr\u00f6m<\/strong>, Program Director at H&amp;M Foundation, reaffirming the funders\u2019 commitment to&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/news\/fifth-convening-oporajita\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">collective impact in the future of work<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the&nbsp;<strong>\u201cSpotlight on Partners\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp;sessions, each partner presented their plans for Phase 2, highlighting priorities, thematic shifts, and new areas of collaboration. These presentations enabled the collective to align expectations, build synergies, and explore joint<a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/cases\/assessing-the-impact-of-gender-integration-and-women-empowerment-in-agriculture\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">&nbsp;opportunities for impact<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Afterward, a brief presentation was delivered by\u00a0<strong>ORS Impact<\/strong>, the\u00a0<strong>Learning and Evaluation Partner<\/strong>\u00a0of Oporajita, outlining their strategy for impact measurement.
