The convening brought together 10 implementing partners working to support <a href=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/insights\/2024\/02\/fostering-wellbeing-for-women-in-rmg\/\">women garment workers <\/a>as the industry adapts to rapid technological change and prepares for Bangladesh\u2019s transition beyond Least Developed Country status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"999\" height=\"309\" src=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/bunon2030\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22852\" srcset=\"https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/bunon2030\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image.png 999w, https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/bunon2030\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-300x93.png 300w, https:\/\/lightcastlepartners.com\/bunon2030\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-768x238.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n<div style=\"height:12px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The gathering provided a collaborative space to align on shared values, strengthen partnerships, and turn earlier discussions into action. With the RMG industry at a critical stage, protecting women\u2019s livelihoods is key to maintaining Bangladesh\u2019s competitiveness while enabling a just, inclusive, and sustainable transition toward decarbonising the entire value chain. Ensuring that women, the backbone of the sector, are not left behind is both an economic and social imperative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Towards the end of the convening, partners joined a Model Community Initiative blueprint workshop. They are also fostering partnerships across sectors and planning to\u00a0convene\u00a0a national-level event involving innovators, key industry figures, and\u00a0policymakers\u00a0among
