The company recently signed a <strong>Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA)<\/strong> with <strong>H&amp;M Group<\/strong>, supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), to promote cleaner, more sustainable energy use within industrial supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Currently, PRAN-RFL operates <strong>14 megawatts of rooftop solar<\/strong> and has a target of expanding to <strong>84 megawatts<\/strong> across more than 30 industrial sites. \u201cWe didn\u2019t wait for the perfect policy environment,\u201d Mr. Alam said. \u201cOur leadership believes in taking bold, proactive steps\u2014and we\u2019re ready to invest in the future of clean energy.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Looking Ahead<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Alam remains optimistic that Bangladesh can achieve its renewable energy targets of 20% by 2030 and 30% by 2040 if policy, financing, and regulatory systems evolve in tandem.
