LightCastle Partners has recently signed a contract with Social Finance Limited, UK-based national impact finance and advisory nonprofit, for a research engagement on “Blended Finance in the Healthcare Sector of Bangladesh“, mandated by USAID, GFF, and World Bank.
LightCastle Partners, as an Innovative Finance Specialist in Bangladesh, will test the applicability of ways of mobilizing private capital through blended finance modality to improve health outcomes in Bangladesh, focusing on maternal, neonatal, and child health (MNCH). Through stakeholder consultations and secondary research, LightCastle Partners will assist in (i) finding the regulatory, legal, or financial barriers, (ii) gauging the investment appetite and interest of relevant private sector investors, and (iii) maximizing the feasibility and impact of the proposed blended finance models.
