Omar Faruq is an accounting and finance professional currently serving as an Executive-Accounts & Finance at LightCastle Partners. He brings professional experience in accounting, financial reporting, audit, taxation, VAT compliance, and financial operations.
Prior to joining LightCastle Partners, he worked as a Senior Accountant – Finance at EFS Facilities Services Bangladesh Pvt. Ltd., following his experience with Rahman Mostafa Alam & Co., Chartered Accountants, where he gained hands-on exposure to audit, accounting, taxation, and financial reporting across diverse industries.
He is currently pursuing a Master of Professional Finance (MPF) at the University of Dhaka and is a Registered Accounting Technician (RAT), with the CA Certificate Level (partly qualified) under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). His professional expertise spans financial reporting, accounts receivable and credit control, VAT and tax compliance, audit, and financial operations. He is committed to ensuring financial accuracy and compliance while supporting effective financial management and decision-making.
