LightCastle Partners in collaboration with ACDI/VOCA and Rural Reconstruction Foundation (RRF) successfully conducted 5 roadshows on July 1-2, 2019 covering the greater Khulna region and day-long Boot camp. The project is a business scale-up program to provide business development support to women agri-entrepreneurs and agri-SMEs via accelerator programs and investment readiness training.
The team conducted roadshows in Jashore (Charabhita, Bagharpara, Narikelbaria and Khajura) and Jheinaidah (Barobazaar). More than 120 women agri-entrepreneurs attended these roadshows for learning and moving to the boot camp round of the program.
Following roadshows, the team organized a day-long boot camp at RRF Training and Research Center, Jashore on July 4, 2019. Here a total of 67+ women ag-entrepreneurs were evaluated based on their past experience, knowledge and business skills. The successful participants will be moving towards the next phase of the Unnoty Accelerator program, the first residential program which is scheduled to be held from 8 July, 2019.
