Amid the COVID-19 crisis, the startup ecosystem of Bangladesh is at grave risk of losing more than TK 450 Cr. In such times of peril, Biniyog Briddhi is here to give access to catalytic funding for impact entrepreneurs. Biniyog Briddhi is a multi-year program by Roots of Impact, LightCastle Partners, and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation.
On the 8th of April 2021, applications were opened for two of the funding schemes of the program; Impact Ready Matching Fund (IRMF) and Social Impact Incentives (SIINC). The IRMF is designed to provide matching funds of up to 100,000 USD, while the SIINC ranges up to 250,000 USD – depending on the magnitude of impact the startups are generating. Impact enterprises and startups can access the application here.
In order to enlighten more on IRMF, SIINC, and the application processes, a virtual session was hosted on the 21st of April, where 100 startup founders and impact entrepreneurs participated. The session enabled the entrepreneurs to learn more about the two funding schemes and network with the program partners and mentors.
The session was hosted by Maxime Chang, Lead Market & Capacity Building Programs at Roots of Impact, and Mehad Ul Haque, Project Manager, and Sr. Business Consultant at LightCastle Partners.
