Nowreen Tasnim is a Trainee Consultant at LightCastle Partners, with a strong foundation in research and development and a focus on advancing inclusive economic growth and resilience through data-driven and impact-oriented approaches.
She is currently pursuing her Master’s in Disaster Management at the Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies, University of Dhaka, where she ranked 1st in her undergraduate cohort. Her experience includes working with organizations such as ADPC, BDPC, HI, ICCCAD, CDD, UN Women, UNICEF, and the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief, contributing to policy analysis, institutional assessments, and field-based research initiatives.
She has also developed practical expertise in climate risk insurance and business continuity planning through programs supported by WFP, KOICA, Oxfam, and ADPC, strengthening her understanding of resilience financing and private-sector risk strategies.
As a creative and innovation-driven thinker, Nowreen believes in turning ideas into action and delivering practical, real-world solutions. Driven by her interest in consulting and development, she aims to contribute to risk-informed and investment-oriented approaches by leveraging data, ecosystem insights, and strategic thinking to design scalable, inclusive, and intersectionality-focused impact.
