Role Summary:
LightCastle Partners is hiring a creative and forward-thinking AI-Powered Web Designer to craft stunning digital experiences at the intersection of technology, design, and impact. You’ll lead the development of websites and landing pages using no-code/low-code tools like Webflow and AI development platforms, turning Figma designs into responsive, high-performing digital interfaces. Key Responsibilities:
AI-Driven Development & No-Code/Low-Code Expertise
- Design and deploy websites using platforms like Webflow, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Editor X, Bubble, or similar.
- Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor, Windsurf) to streamline design and coding workflows.
- Master prompt engineering to generate UI layouts, code blocks, and logic with AI.
- Translate Figma or similar design files into pixel-perfect, functional, and responsive websites using no-code builders and AI conversion tools.
Website Design, Performance & Optimization
- Build visually engaging and brand-aligned web experiences that are optimized for all devices.
- Apply best practices for on-page SEO, accessibility, and site performance.
- Use tools like Webflow Interactions and Animations to enhance user experience.
- Continuously improve site speed, design consistency, and usability.
Content & Maintenance
- Manage and update content using CMS platforms, especially Webflow CMS and WordPress as needed.
- Troubleshoot bugs and ensure uptime, security, and responsiveness across platforms.
Collaboration & Innovation
- Work closely with design, content, strategy, and marketing teams to scope and deliver projects.
- Stay up to date with the latest AI design tools, web development frameworks, and best practices.
- Occasionally contribute to full-stack projects, deployment, and backend tasks as required.
Qualifications & Skills:
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in web design and development with a portfolio of high-quality work.
- Proficiency in at least one major no-code/low-code builder: Webflow (strongly preferred), Bubble, or Squarespace.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered tools for UI/UX generation, design automation, or code scaffolding.
- Expertise in prompt engineering to maximize the utility of AI design/dev tools.
- Experience converting designs from Figma or Adobe XD into fully functional websites.
- Good grasp of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript concepts for troubleshooting or customization.
- Strong eye for UI/UX design, layout, typography, and responsive principles.
- Familiarity with CMS workflows (especially Webflow CMS and WordPress).
- Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with backend languages: Node.js, Python, PHP.
- Knowledge of hosting, domain management, and CI/CD pipelines (Netlify, Vercel, GitHub Actions, etc.).
- Familiarity with website analytics (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.).
- Advanced understanding of technical SEO and performance optimization techniques.
