Position Overview: The Business Consultant will join LightCastle Partners’ Ecosystem & Investments team in a full-time capacity. In this role, the consultant will contribute to project management, research and financial analysis, and content development for both internal and external stakeholders. 1. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics or related field.
- General understanding of and interest in strategy and research.
- Superior writing ability.
- Prior experience in writing public and business reports.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
2. Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with data analytics/visualization tools (R, Python, Power BI, Tableau) will be an added advantage.

4. Key Responsibilities
Project Management Support
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders to drive project deliverables from inception to completion.
- Monitor project progress, identify delivery risks and bottlenecks, and escalate issues where required.
- Support development of project plans, workplans, budgets, and resource allocation.
- Manage client relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Review and quality-assure project outputs prior to client submission.
Research
- Design research methodologies, sampling approaches, data collection instruments, and analytical frameworks for assigned projects.
- Conduct primary and secondary research, including focus group discussions, and triangulate findings to validate conclusions.
- Conduct financial and investment analysis, including assessment of business models, financial performance, and investment readiness.
- Maintain research quality and appropriate documentation throughout project execution, and develop high-quality reports aligned with client expectations.
Content Generation
- Develop frameworks and analytical approaches to address complex client and business problems.
- Produce articles, slide decks, concept notes, and white papers on industry best practices for internal and external audiences.
- Summarize research papers, reports, and articles for the Insight Platform, ensuring clarity and relevance.
- Maintain and update knowledge management platforms to optimize information flow.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in client meetings, workshops, and stakeholder consultations, contributing analysis and recommendations.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, development partners, investors, entrepreneurs, and government agencies.
- Represent LightCastle Partners at relevant external meetings, events, and ecosystem engagements.
- Support development of proposals, concept notes, pitch decks, and other business development materials.
5. Experience Required
2-3 years of relevant experience.
6. Compensation
