Position Overview
The Trainee Consultant – Human Resources will join LightCastle Partners’ HR wing for a four-month, full-time internship. During this period, the trainee will contribute to key HR operations, recruitment processes, and organizational development initiatives. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking hands-on HR experience within a dynamic consulting environment. Based on performance and alignment with organizational values, there may be an opportunity for a permanent position upon completion of the internship.
3. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or ongoing) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in building a long-term career in HR.
- Familiarity with HR concepts, principles, and best practices.
- Prior internship or campus leadership experience is an advantage.
4. Required Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (mandatory).
- Working knowledge of Canva for internal communication design (mandatory).
- Basic understanding or practical exposure to AI tools used in HR processes (e.g., AI-based recruitment platforms, automated forms, dashboards).

- Creativity and attention to detail in content creation.
- Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and adapt.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professionalism.
6. Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
- Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews.
- Support onboarding activities, including preparing digital materials and documentation for new hires.
HR Operations
- Maintain and update employee records; support management of leave, contracts, and attendance.
- Handle daily HR administrative tasks and assist with data management using Google Suite.
Employee Engagement & Learning Initiatives
- Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events and internal communication campaigns.
- Create visual content in Canva for internal notices, newsletters, and updates.
- Support cultural initiatives and participate in their execution.
- Assist in designing and implementing learning and development activities, including trainings, workshops, and seminars.
HR Process Automation & Improvement
- Use AI tools (e.g., chatbots, survey analysis, automated trackers) to streamline HR functions.
- Support the digitization of HR documentation, workflows, and reporting processes.
Employer Branding
- Assist with campus engagement initiatives to strengthen the company’s presence at universities, including job fairs, partnerships, internship programs, and scholarship activities.
