Role Summary:
LightCastle Partners is seeking an innovative and forward-thinking Web Developer to join our dynamic team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of web development, leveraging cutting-edge no-code/low-code platforms and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to create stunning, high-performing websites and landing pages. You will be instrumental in rapidly translating design concepts into functional digital experiences, optimizing our online presence, and occasionally contributing to full-stack projects. If you are passionate about harnessing the power of AI, mastering prompt engineering, and building beautiful websites with modern tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- AI-Driven & No-Code/Low-Code Development:
- Design, develop, and deploy websites and landing pages primarily using leading no-code/low-code platforms (e.g., Webflow, Drok, Wix, Squarespace, Framer, Make, Editor X, Bubble, or similar) and AI-powered development tools (e.g. Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor, Windsurf etc.).
- Master prompt engineering techniques to efficiently generate UI components, layouts, and initial code structures using AI assistants, significantly accelerating the development workflow.
- Convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect, functional websites using a combination of no-code builders and AI conversion tools.
- Website Design & Optimization:
- Ensure all web properties are visually appealing, user-friendly, responsive across all devices, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Figma to HTML/WordPress development
- Implement on-page SEO best practices during the build process.
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve website performance, speed, and user experience.
- Management & Maintenance:
- Manage and update the platform using, particularly WordPress, when required.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and ensure optimal performance and security.
- Collaboration & Innovation:
- Collaborate closely with design, content, marketing, and strategy teams to understand requirements and deliver effective digital solutions.
- Stay ahead of the curve by researching, evaluating, and recommending new AI tools, no-code platforms, and web development techniques.
- Occasionally assist with backend tasks and deployment processes for full-stack web applications as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: 2-3 years of proven experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing websites built using various methods.
- No-Code/Low-Code Expertise: Demonstrable proficiency with one or more major no-code/low-code website builders (Webflow, Dorik, Bubble, and Squarespace strongly preferred, others are a plus).
- AI Tool Proficiency: Proven experience using AI-powered tools for frontend development, design assistance, and code generation.
- Prompt Engineering: Crucial Skill. Strong ability to craft effective prompts for AI tools to achieve desired design and functionality outcomes.
- Design Conversion: Expertise in translating UI/UX designs (especially Figma) into functional, responsive websites using modern tools.
- Web Fundamentals: Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript principles.
- Design Acumen: Strong eye for visual design, understanding of UI/UX principles, typography, and layout.
- CMS Knowledge: Experience working with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and bug-fixing skills.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP, etc.) and database management.
- Knowledge of hosting environments, domain management, and deployment processes (CI/CD).
- Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- SEO knowledge and implementation experience.
