Biniyog Briddhi has launched the application for the third cohort of the Bridge for Billions Programme for Incubators to incubate early-stage impact enterprises. Through this program, incubators will be selected and then licenses will be awarded to them to access the highly-structured platform of Bridge for Billions. Incubators can decide on the entrepreneurs they would like to offer the licenses to, in turn, to offer structured resources and mentorship opportunities unique in the Bangladesh incubator ecosystem.
Accelerators and incubators can apply for the licenses before April 13, 2022.
Alexandra Martins, Investors Lead at Bridge for Billions hosted the FAQ session for the audience and later answered questions from prospective incubators and enterprises with Maxime Cheng, Lead Market and Capacity Building Program at Roots of Impact.
Requirements to apply in the Train-the-Trainer programme as an incubator are mainly dependent on experience, i.e. having at least 2 years of operations, having a proven track record running incubation programmes, providing evidence of having run one of these programmes in the last 6 months, having a solid network of mentors, etc. The selected incubators will be committing to integrate the Bridge for Billions platform in their regular offerings or evidence of having built a structured programme around the Bridge for Billions platform.
The last and final cohort of the incubators will be onboarded in May 2022 to start the six months long programme with the chosen enterprises or impact entrepreneurs.
