A two-day summit titled “4th National Young Entrepreneur Summit 2020” was held on 19 and 20 September 2020, organized jointly by YOUNG and Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Project (ESDP), in association with Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA). The summit aimed to generate opportunities for investment, partnership, and collaboration for young entrepreneurs through master workshops, storytelling and networking sessions, case studies, and panel discussions.
Bijon Islam, Co-founder and CEO of LightCastle Partners, attended as a panelist in the discussion on “Creating an Enabling Legislative, Policy and Regulatory Environment for Future Entrepreneur in Bangladesh.” He was joined by fellow respected panelists Pranesh Ranjan Sutradhar, Additional Secretary, Chief Controller, Office of Chief Controller of Imports and Exports, Ministry of Commerce; and Rezwanul Haque Jami, Head of Team, Ekshop, a2i, at the event, which was moderated by Sanjana Farid, Chief Development and Partnership Officer at YOUNG.
