The 12-month-long program, GP Accelerator 3.0, launched by Grameenphone, aims to promote and support ideators to execute their business in a well-organized and structured manner. Here, LightCastle Partners have affiliated with Grameephone to help bring this change through this program for the aspiring minds of our country.
To promote this program, Design Thinking Bootcamps were conducted across 5 regions of Bangladesh, namely; Dhaka, Chattogram, Rajshahi, Sylhet, and Khulna. The Design Thinking Bootcamps are a one-day event that provides an opportunity to enlighten these prospective entrepreneurs on the know-how of the business world and promises to prepare these early-stage entrepreneurs for the practical world.
Therefore, to make people aware of the Design Thinking Bootcamps, we have partnered with universities in the aforementioned regions in an attempt to track down the ideators, by conducting Roadshow events. Members of the LightCastle team, Omar Farhan Khan, Senior Business Consultant, and Mrinmoy Sobhan, Business Consultant, conducted these roadshow events, which act as info sessions, in Rajshahi, Khulna, and Sylhet. Through these info sessions, potential candidates for the Design Thinking Bootcamps were able to get all their queries and concerns addressed on how the GPA 3.0 program will prove to be beneficial for them.
Moreover, to advance these events further, offline promotions are also in progress, such as advertisements in the local newspapers, along with social media boosting. We gladly state that thus far, 324 online applications were received for the Design Thinking Bootcamps and more from on-spot applications during these info sessions.
