LightCastle Concludes an Accelerator Program for Oxfam’s Entrepreneur Development Program in Rangpur

LightCastle Partners in partnership with Oxfam successfully hosted an Accelerator Program for the Entrepreneur Development Program (EDP) for their project titled “Building Oxfam’s Footprint in Bangladesh Entrepreneur Ecosystem” in the Kaunia region of Rangpur. The 2-day training event took place on February 23 and 24, 2022. The top 26 entrepreneurs who were previously shortlisted from the Bootcamp, were invited to partake in this accelerator program. Key selection criteria for selecting the SMEs were Asset Base, Revenue, Profit Margin, Experience in Years, and Customer Base.

Participants went through the two-day training program covering concepts of business, Business Model Canvas (BMC), management, accounting & bookkeeping, financial management & investment raising. As a result of this training, the entrepreneurs were able to venture into flexible Financial Instruments to match their cash flow and the business cycle, structure business planning & bookkeeping, and branded voucher bills to ensure proper transaction documentation and build a good banking transaction history for getting access to finance & stimulus loans.
