LightCastle Partners is pleased to announce the signing of a contract with Global Affairs Canada (GAC) to conduct an in-depth study on Green Jobs and Just Transitions in Bangladesh. This initiative aims to assess policy and regulatory frameworks, identify sectors with the highest potential for climate adaptation and green job creation, and recommend locally led adaptation interventions to support climate-resilient economic growth.
The study will include a comprehensive review of existing regulations and policies impacting green jobs, identifying gaps and areas for improvement. It will also analyze high-potential sectors to assess employment opportunities in climate-adaptive industries, ensuring a transition that is both sustainable and inclusive.
Additionally, the study will focus on climate-vulnerable regions, recommending scalable adaptation strategies that align with local needs and economic realities.Through this collaboration, LightCastle Partners and Global Affairs Canada aim to generate actionable insights and practical interventions, helping Bangladesh strategically navigate the evolving green economy while fostering long-term resilience and sustainable job creation.
