LightCastle Partners has recently signed a contract with the International Hospital Group (IHG) for conducting a project titled, “Hospital Feasibility Study”. The project, supported by Symon Capital, will perform an assessment of the general economic outlook of Bangladesh, the health sector within the economic framework, and analyze competitor hospitals. The impact investment framework will be undertaken to gauge the alignment of the proposed hospital with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The study will be fragmented into two distinct phases. In Phase I, market sizing based on income groups of consumers will be pursued. In Phase II, in-depth primary research will be conducted to acquire surgical/administrative/service costs for different tiers of hospitals. Additionally, LightCastle will guide the development of a 10-year operational roadmap and a financial feasibility analysis, for the project, in partnership with IHG. The project will contribute towards private sector healthcare by generating distributional effects, through implementing the proposed cross-revenue model and strategy guideline. The project is expected to be completed by April 2021.
