Md. Shah-Nawaj Sojib is a Senior Manager (Accounts & Finance) at LightCastle Partners Ltd. having 7+ years of professional experience including Chartered Accountancy in the field of Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Direct & Indirect Tax, representing firms such as Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co under the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
He has also qualified as a NBR certified VAT Consultant and completed the PGD in Customs VAT & Income Tax Management with Distinction jointly organized by DCCI Business Institute (DBI) and AIUB. Prior to that, he completed his BBA & MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Rajshahi.
Before joining LightCastle Partners Ltd. Sojib worked as a Senior Manager (Accounts & Finance) at SaRa Lifestyle Ltd., a well-renowned fashion brand & manufacturing company in Bangladesh – a sister concern of Snowtex Group.
He has professional expertise in the fields of Accounting, Finance, Auditing, and Direct & Indirect Tax from where he is capable of managing the overall financial reports and risk optimization, strengthening control process, management reports & financial statements in compliance with IAS, IFRS as well as local laws & regulations
