B-Briddhi’s 2nd IMM Booster Workshop: Strengthening Impact Measurement Skills

On November 26, 2024, B-Briddhi, in partnership with Roots of Impact and LightCastle Partners, hosted its second Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) Booster Workshop at the Lakeshore Hotel in Dhaka. This workshop, tailored for certified service providers from the 4th cohort of the Train-the-Trainer (TTT) program, was conducted by Melanie Rodriguez Siow, an experienced trainer from the Social Finance Academy.

Enhancing IMM Skills and Techniques

The workshop served a dual purpose. First, it refreshed the knowledge of IMM graduates, ensuring they remained prepared for their roles in the Voucher Scheme (VS) program. Second, it introduced IMM concepts to newcomers, motivating them to engage in future service delivery. Participants engaged in practical group exercises and structured training sessions, which emphasized applying IMM principles to real-world challenges.

Goals and Learning Outcomes

Refreshing Expertise: Certified service providers revisited fundamental IMM principles to enhance their readiness for the ongoing VS program.

Inspiring New Participants: The session encouraged newcomers to witness effective IMM delivery methods, fostering interest in future involvement.

A Collaborative Learning Environment

The workshop created a platform for participants to explore Impact Measurement & Management concepts through peer review and technical discussions. These activities refined their skills and deepened their understanding of IMM, enabling them to provide more impactful services.

Focus on Advanced Data Collection

A significant portion of the session addressed advanced data collection techniques. Participants learned how to transform indicator statements into actionable data points and implement best practices for survey collection. These skills are critical for tracking progress and outcomes in impact enterprises.

Role of Certified Service Providers

Certified service providers are essential to the success of the VS program. They transfer valuable knowledge and skills to impact enterprises, facilitating their growth and sustainability. This workshop enhanced the providers’ capabilities, enabling them to deliver high-quality IMM services. These services are crucial for securing advanced technical assistance and impact-linked financial support.
