Last month, as part of our mental health awareness initiative, the LightCastle HR team organized a dedicated session for all team members to underscore the importance of mental well-being. Recognizing the significant influence of mental health on workplace culture and the broader ecosystem, we conducted this session on November 25th, with a primary focus on stress management and promoting a healthy work-life balance.
The session aimed to enhance understanding of mental health through interactive discussions, group activities, and practical techniques. Key topics included mental health myths, stress management, burnout prevention, and the link between well-being and productivity. The 3-hour session focused on improving awareness, identifying stressors, adopting healthier lifestyles, and mastering breathing and relaxation techniques for effective stress relief and productivity improvement.
Initiated by Md. Rafiul Islam, Co-founder and CEO of Chum Wellness, the session was conducted by Saima Akhter, Senior Clinical Psychologist (M.Phil in Clinical Psychology). The session was aimed not only to raise awareness but also to provide practical tools to manage stress and prioritize mental well-being in the workplace. Overall, the session offered a valuable opportunity for interaction, group activities, and open discussions.
