LightCastle Partners recently hosted another insightful edition of the LightCastle Open Day, welcoming a group of enthusiastic participants eager to explore the consulting profession and gain a deeper understanding of the work we do. Held on December 3, 2025, the event was designed to equip students with practical knowledge of management consulting, our organizational culture, and the competencies required to build a career in this field.
The program commenced with an HR-led opening session facilitated by Saima Ali, Senior Manager – Human Resources. She provided an overview of current vacancies, recruitment processes, essential skill sets, and the assessment and shortlisting criteria followed at LightCastle. She also shared practical guidance on strengthening candidate profiles, preparing for interviews, and aligning with industry expectations.
Following the HR segment, attention shifted to the Development & Management Consulting domain. M. Rakinul Islam, Business Consultant, Sadia Karim, Business Consultant, and Priyo Pranto, Senior Business Consultant delivered an informative session outlining the consulting workflow, the nature of projects undertaken, and the impact driven through data-backed development interventions. Their discussion provided participants with clarity on real-life project scenarios, problem-solving methodologies, and the analytical mindset critical to success in consulting.
After a short break, the spotlight turned to the Ecosystem & Investments vertical, led by Omar Farhan Khan, Senior Business Consultant & Project Manager. He highlighted how the team facilitates ecosystem development, investment readiness, and market-enabling initiatives. His session offered insights into project execution styles, investment-oriented research, and emerging opportunities within Bangladesh’s startup and private-sector ecosystems.
Next, Ishrat Ashique, Senior Specialist- Marketing and Partnerships, conducted a session focused on the Marketing function at LightCastle. She elaborated on how strategic communication, branding, and partnerships reinforce the organization’s mission and how the marketing team collaborates with consulting units to enhance project visibility and impact.
The event concluded with a closing session and guided office tour led by Kawsar Miah, Manager – Admin & Procurement, who provided participants with an inside look into our collaborative workspace, operational processes, and day-to-day culture.
Overall, Open Day successfully fulfilled its objective of providing students with meaningful insights into consulting as a career, the nature of our work, and the skills required to pursue future opportunities in this domain. Participants departed with a clearer understanding of the consulting sector and the diverse roles that contribute to impactful, data-driven decision-making at LightCastle Partners.
