PoultryTechBangladesh Inaugurates SmartStart Hatchery Equipment and Training in Panchbibi 

On Dec 23, 2025, PoultryTechBangladesh, in collaboration with Royal Pas Reform, Quick Chicks and Axon Limited, introduced a new technology in the hatchery ecosystem in Bangladesh. The SmartStart Hatchery Equipment is designed to offer earliest possible access to feed, water and light for newly hatched chicks. 

It is the first of its kind in Bangladesh. The SmartStart hatchery equipment has been set as part of the demonstration of the PoultryTechBangladesh project in Panchbibi, Joypurhat. The inaugural session hosted 60 hatchers and farmers from Dinajpur and Joypurhat districts. Introducing them to the equipment and the demonstration facility. 

Dr. SM Khurshid Alam, District Training Officer, District Livestock Office, Joypurhat joined the ceremony as the Chief Guest. In his remarks, he emphasized the deep need for understanding and maintaining safe and efficient farming practices as this ultimately leads to profitability for the farmers. The event was also enriched with notes from Dr. Hasan Ali of Joypurhat District Livestock Office, Mr. Abu Musa Mollah of Quick Chicks Limited, Mr. Abu Syed from Axon Limited and Ms. Ainan Tajrian from LightCastle Partners. 

The inauguration ceremony was followed by training sessions moderated by Axon Limited. The sessions were focused on advanced hatchery technologies and equipment to help poultry farmers and hatchers understand the emerging trends in the global hatchery industry. The sessions enabled interactive discussions. This included deep insights on good poultry farming measures and progressive government services available to support the farmers and hatchers.
