Mir Mohammad Hamza is a sustainability researcher and consultant with experience in quantitative modelling, data analytics, and strategic decision support across environmental and development projects. His work spans material flow analysis, life-cycle and techno-economic assessment, financial modelling, and policy analysis, with particular expertise in plastics, waste management, circular economy, and resource efficiency. He has contributed to research and consultancy engagements supported by organizations including the World Bank and USAID, translating complex technical, environmental, and market data into actionable recommendations for policy, investment, and business decision-making.
Hamza holds a BSc in Economics with a Minor in Mathematics and an MSc in Environmental Science and Management from North South University, where his research focuses on industrial ecology and systems modelling for sustainability. His research has been published in leading international peer-reviewed journals, including Modeling Earth Systems and Environment and Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, covering sustainable textile-material choices and broader sustainability and energy-transition issues. He has also led and contributed to research on plastic-waste systems, textile circularity, municipal waste management, and resource efficiency, bringing to LightCastle Partners an interdisciplinary perspective that combines economics, sustainability, quantitative analysis, and applied research.
