Lightcastle Partners officially launched its flagship publication – LightCastle Business Confidence Index 2019-20 on Thursday, July 23 through a virtual event. The study is aimed at gauging the business sentiments of private sector leaders across 20+ sectors, having a notable contribution to Bangladesh’s economy. The industries to feature in this report were purposefully determined to include sectors that had the highest level of contribution to the country’s GDP. This year’s report was conducted based on interviews with 59 CXO members of different leading companies, from March 2020 to April 2020.
The virtual launch commenced with an overview of the publication where Zahedul Amin, Co-founder & Director of LightCastle Partners, presented key findings of the industries which highlighted impacts of both before and after of Covid-19 in Bangladesh.
Following the presentation, a panel discussion was hosted by Bijon Islam, CEO of LightCastle Partners, with the panel consisting of four esteemed industry experts:
The discussion strengthened the findings of the study and sparked insightful dialogues regarding industry-specific sentiments, information, and innovation to further propel the growth of Bangladesh and manage crises as significant as COVID-19.
An open discussion to answer questions from participants led to the conclusion of the event.
