We are delighted to announce that Bijon Islam, CEO of LightCastle Partners, has been appointed as one of the new board of directors of TiE Dhaka 2020-21. TiE Global is a nonprofit organization devoted to entrepreneurs in all industries, at all stages, from incubation throughout the entrepreneurial lifecycle.
Bijon Islam joins the likes of Fayaz Taher, COO at Bongo and co-founder of Startup Dhaka, who has been appointed as the new Board President of TiE Dhaka Chapter, as well as other new members including Barrister Sameer Sattar (Founder and Head of the firm Sattar & Co.), Nusrat Aman (CEO of Ayat Education), Riyad Husain (MD. of NDE Solutions & ex-CEO of Magnito Digital), Siffat Sarwar (Co-founder of ShopUp) and Arman Haque (Chairman of InnStar).
With a global reach and a local focus, the heart of TiE efforts lies in its five foundational programs – Mentoring, Networking, Education, Funding, and Incubation. TiE has 61 chapters and more than 15,000 charter members across the globe. Since its inception in 2014, TiE Dhaka has grown in leaps and bounds and now consists of a vibrant community of entrepreneurs, professionals, and executives.
