“I am a financial services and risk professional with experience spanning management consulting, compliance, and regulated UK financial services. I began my professional journey at LightCastle Partners Ltd in Bangladesh, where I worked from 2017 to 2020 as a Project Manager & Senior Business Consultant. During this time, I led and delivered over ten projects valued at approximately £1.5 million across multiple regions, managing project delivery, budgets, stakeholder relationships, and team supervision while ensuring high standards of analysis and reporting.
My experience at LightCastle played a pivotal role in shaping my career and enabling my transition from Bangladesh to the UK financial services sector. The exposure to structured problem-solving, governance, compliance requirements, and senior stakeholder engagement helped me build a strong risk-aware mindset, commercial judgement, and professional discipline, which were instrumental in establishing my career in the UK financial services industry.
I currently work at PRIMIS Mortgage Network as an Advice Support Assessor, where I carry out quality assurance and audit-style reviews of mortgage, protection, and general insurance advice cases. My role focuses on assessing regulatory compliance, identifying risk and control gaps, providing structured feedback to advisers, and contributing to trend analysis and process improvements to strengthen oversight and risk management.
I hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) alongside professional qualifications including the Diploma for Financial Advisers (DipFA), the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), and the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification. From March 2026, I will be starting my next role as a Risk Consultant with The Openwork Partnership within the second-line risk function. In this role, I will support the operation of the Group risk framework, contribute to risk assessments and reporting, work with teams across the business to identify risks and implement controls, and help embed effective risk ownership and risk-based decision-making.
