Shams Asif Chowdhury is a Senior Business Consultant (Ecosystem and Investment Team) at LightCastle Partners, with over 7 years of experience in program operations, strategic partnerships, and process design. Before his current role, he served as Lead of Program & Partnerships at 10 Minute School, Bangladesh’s largest digital learning platform. During his tenure, he led nationwide academic operations, established operational frameworks for physical learning centers, and spearheaded flagship skill development programs that reached over 2 million learners.
With a foundation in Disaster Management from the University of Dhaka, where he completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees, Shams applies a data-driven approach and operational rigour to complex ecosystems. He has synthesized hybrid program strategies, managed cross-functional teams, and led high-impact partnership projects collaborating with leading corporate entities, INGOs, and development partners, including bKash, Unilever Bangladesh, Grameenphone, BRAC, BRAC Microfinance, LightCastle Partners, a2i, The Asia Foundation, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, and learning initiatives across various sectors, including pharma, RMG, FMCG, etc.
