Enabling Digital Financial Inclusion and Women’s Economic Empowerment in Vulnerable Women Groups – a joint initiative and study by the World Food Programme (WFP) and Department of Women Affairs (DWA), supported by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation is in the process of implementing advocacy and capacity development interventions for ensuring greater digital financial inclusion for vulnerable women groups.
As part of these interventions, LightCastle Partners has conducted two Training of Trainer (TOT) sessions for DWA’s field-level staff— ‘Tottho Apa’– who would subsequently be conducting training sessions for Social Safety Net Programme (SSNP) beneficiaries.
Mr. Lutfur Rahman, an expert consultant on Digital Financial Inclusion with over 20 years of experience, and Mr. Md. Mubassir Rahman, project manager, LightCastle Partners co-facilitated the session. Ms. Lillian Madeje, Digital Financial Inclusion Coordinator, WFP, was present during the training sessions.
