At LightCastle, we regularly hold sessions on a wide range of topics to foster professional training and development among team members. As part of those efforts, we recently organized a session on Wealth Management and Investments on June 3rd, 2024. This session is intended to provide our team members with the right knowledge about investment strategies, tax rebates, the benefits of investing, suitable investment schemes, and an overall understanding of long-term wealth management strategies.
Shaheen Siam, Founding Member & Chief Strategy Officer, led the session. Additionally, our special guest, Mr. Ali Imam, Managing Director and CEO of Edge Asset Management, shared his valuable insights and examples.
The session began with a quiz that continued throughout, keeping participants engaged in a lively and competitive atmosphere. The winner of this interactive quiz game was Omar Farhan Khan, who received a Tk 5,000 investment in EDGE mutual funds, courtesy of Bini. Additionally, four other participants won prize bonds.
Overall, the session was a tremendous success, with team members appreciating the opportunity to gain crucial insights into investment strategies, tax benefits, and wealth management practices. The interactive format, highlighted by an engaging quiz, ensured active participation and reinforced learning. This initiative not only enhanced financial literacy among our team members but also empowered them to make informed decisions about managing and investing their money, ultimately adding significant value to their personal and professional growth.
