Participants gained a deeper understanding of what investors look for when evaluating early-stage businesses, including how to articulate a compelling value proposition, structure a business for long-term scalability, and present their ventures with clarity and confidence.
A key focus of the mentorship program was helping entrepreneurs understand term sheet fundamentals. Covering concepts such as pro-rata rights, board seats, liquidation preferences, dividends, and voting rights. Giving founders the vocabulary and conceptual grounding they need to engage with investors on equal footing.
