PoultryTechBangladesh Welcomes New Partners to the Consortium

In a concerted effort to foster ongoing collaboration and bring valuable expertise and resources to the PoultryTechBangladesh initiative, the program has recently welcomed four new partners: Quick Chicks, Provita, Paragon, and Nourish. This expanded partnership will strengthen investment facilitation, provide technical assistance, and bolster co-financing initiatives in the poultry sector

The integrators/companies are committed to advancing sustainable poultry sector development to enhance food security in Bangladesh. Provita Group, a prominent agro-based enterprise, operates extensively in the feed, hatchery, and breeding sectors.

Similarly, Paragon is engaged in hatchery operations, commercial broiler and layer production, breeding, and Grand Parent (GP) stock management. Nourish comprises several affiliated companies that specialize in the production of Day-Old Chicks (DOC), broiler feed, layer feed, and Parent Stock.

Quick Chicks, formerly known as Eggs & Hens, engages in hatchery operations & aims to establish demonstration hatcheries equipped with advanced technologies.

PoultryTechBangladesh, officially launched on April 1, 2021, is a prominent public-private partnership between the poultry value chain actors of the Netherlands and Bangladesh.

Larive and LightCastle Partners

The five-year program, co-funded by the Netherlands Enterprise Agency and coordinated by Larive International and LightCastle Partners, started off with a distinguished group of partners including Aeres Training Centre International, Aftab Bahumukhi Farms, Hato, Hendrix Genetics, Kazi Farms, Marel Poultry, and many more.

The inclusion of Quick Chicks, Provita, Paragon, and Nourish signifies a significant expansion of the consortium and will strengthen the project’s ability in facilitating a sustainable Bangladeshi poultry sector

The program’s objectives are to foster robust business relationships among Dutch and Bangladeshi companies, boost trade and investment, provide technical assistance and capacity development, and co-finance facilities to consortium partners.
