The recent floods in the eastern region of Bangladesh have led to many deaths and the displacement of millions. However, this has also been a moment when people across the country have united in solidarity with those affected by the flood.
In the same spirit of unity, solidarity, and humanity, LightCastle Partners initiated a fund-raising drive within the organization and matched the contributions made by team members to support those affected by the floods.
Through this infographic, we would also like to bring to attention the causes and consequences of the floods, the response by the government and other stakeholders, and long-term mitigating strategies that can avoid such severe consequences in the future.
