Building Pathways to Impact: LightCastle Partners Engages with Future Consultants at IUB and ULAB 

On October 21 and 22, 2025, LightCastle Partners hosted two consecutive “Career in Consulting” sessions at Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and the University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB). These interactive engagements were thoughtfully designed to introduce students to the consulting profession, LightCastle’s impact-driven work, and diverse career opportunities within the firm. Across both universities, the sessions drew the participation of nearly 200 enthusiastic students, reflecting strong interest in the field of management consulting. 

The IUB session, attended by around 150 participants, began with M. Rakinul Islam, Business Consultant, who provided an insightful overview of the consulting landscape. He elaborated on how consultants add value by solving complex business challenges, driving transformative change, and enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple industries. 

Ainan Tajrian, Senior Business Consultant at ULAB

The following day, at ULAB, Ainan Tajrian, Senior Business Consultant, led an equally engaging discussion. Drawing on her professional experience, she shared real-world project stories and demonstrated how consulting serves as a bridge between organizational challenges and sustainable solutions that deliver measurable impact. 

Saima Ali, Senior Manager – Human Resources at IUB

In both sessions, Saima Ali, Senior Manager – Human Resources, highlighted LightCastle Partners’ recruitment process and career pathways. She outlined the competencies, analytical capabilities, and behavioral attributes of the firm’s values in prospective candidates, while also sharing actionable guidance on how students can strengthen their profiles for roles in consulting. Her session offered participants a clear understanding of LightCastle’s hiring approach, talent development culture, and the firm’s commitment to nurturing young professionals. 

Naima Nowshin Nabani, Business Analyst at ULAB

At IUB, Ameera Fairooz, Senior Business Consultant, showcased LightCastle’s diverse project portfolio, explaining methodologies, frameworks, and success stories that have shaped the firm’s consulting practice. Similarly, at ULAB, Naima Nowshin Nabani, Business Analyst, shared perspectives on LightCastle’s ecosystem-focused initiatives, giving students a holistic view of consulting operations and development opportunities within the organization. 

Ishrat Ashique, Senior Specialist- Marketing and Partnerships at ULAB

Adding further dimension to the ULAB session, Ishrat Ashique, Senior Specialist- Marketing and Partnerships, and a proud alumna of the university, introduced students to the Marketing and Analytics, Design and Motion, and Technology & AI functions under LightCastle’s Marketing Unit which emphasizing cross-functional career prospects beyond traditional consulting roles.

A lively highlight of both events was the interactive quiz, facilitated by Nuzhat Naoshin, HR Officer. Using a live digital platform, students competed in real time, creating an energetic learning environment that fostered collaboration and engagement. Top performers from both universities were recognized with tokens of appreciation.

The IUB session concluded with closing remarks from Prof. Daniel W. Lund, Pro Vice-Chancellor, IUB, who commended LightCastle Partners for its role in enhancing students’ career preparedness and facilitating industry-academia linkage. He emphasized the value of such collaborations in bridging the gap between academic learning and professional readiness. 

Across both universities, the events concluded with a token-sharing segment and closing reflections, marking the successful completion of two days of meaningful engagement. Through these sessions, LightCastle Partners reinforced its commitment to youth development, talent engagement, and building pathways for future consultants to contribute to impactful, data-driven change in the business ecosystem.
