LightCastle Partners recently participated in the Larive Business Forum 2026 (LBF26), held in Zeist, the Netherlands, bringing together members of the Larive Group network and international companies seeking opportunities across high-growth emerging markets.
Representing Bangladesh, Bijon Islam, CEO and Co-founder, and Zahedul Amin, Managing Director and Co-founder of LightCastle Partners, joined business leaders and market experts from Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Caucasus to explore new avenues for international collaboration and investment.
As the exclusive Larive Group partner in Bangladesh, LightCastle Partners contributed to discussions on strengthening trade and investment linkages and highlighting the opportunities presented by Bangladesh’s evolving economy.
The Larive Business Forum serves as a platform for connecting companies with local market experts, enabling focused discussions on market entry, expansion strategies, and long-term business development. Throughout the forum, participating companies engaged in a series of one-on-one meetings with Larive partners to gain market insights and identify opportunities across Bangladesh, India, Ukraine, Georgia, Kenya, Nigeria, and other emerging economies.
The event underscored the value of local expertise and cross-border collaboration in helping businesses navigate complex and rapidly evolving markets.
A key highlight of the forum was the launch of the whitepaper titled “Bangladesh–Netherlands Trade and Investment Landscape: Opportunities for Growth and Partnership,” jointly developed by LightCastle Partners and Larive International.

Building on insights from the Bangladesh–Netherlands Investment Dialogue, the publication examines the evolution of bilateral economic relations and identifies opportunities for deeper collaboration between the two countries. The whitepaper highlights trends in trade and foreign direct investment while exploring growth prospects across sectors including agribusiness, logistics, renewable energy, water and climate resilience, healthcare technology, and IT and IT-enabled services.
Over the past two decades, the relationship between Bangladesh and the Netherlands has evolved beyond traditional development cooperation into one increasingly driven by trade, investment, sustainability, and private sector collaboration. Discussions during the forum emphasized the importance of knowledge exchange, innovation, and strategic partnerships in unlocking new growth opportunities.
By bringing together international businesses and local market experts, the Larive Business Forum 2026 provided a platform for fostering meaningful partnerships and facilitating conversations around the future of emerging markets.

Through its participation in LBF26 and its collaboration with Larive International, LightCastle Partners continues to contribute to strengthening Bangladesh’s position as an attractive destination for trade and investment while supporting deeper economic engagement between Bangladesh and global markets.
